Close to my heart, the White Isle in the Balearics. An island of sunshine, trance music and of course, scuba diving. To celebrate my 40th birthday, I visited Ibiza for the third year running in September 2016. Between visits to stunning islands, sunny beaches and several of Ibiza’s super clubs, I found time on the last day but-one to dive the Island “Els Malvins” a small sea mount ten minutes off shore by by boat, where I saw conger, barracuda, octopus and lobster.
I completed this dive long before the days of owning an underwater camera, which is regrettable because the seamount is one of the most beautiful underwater landscapes I have ever seen, to the point where on entry into the water, I almost cried tears of awe as the stunning ocean landscape took my breath away. Luckily Anfibios Scuba Diving made video of a simular seamount off Playa D’en Bossa so I can view it anytime here > Anfibios Scuba Diving Video U-Tube
