The second of two Fish Identification Certification dives.
During the second dive, we practised the techniques from dive one as well as categorised fish by placing them in appropriate family groups, identified specific species when possible.
We also recorded fish sightings on a slate, including abundance and habitat information, photographed and described the characteristics of unfamiliar fish, then identified them after the dive using a fish identification book. Whilst on the course we practiced responsible diving practices to minimise negative environmental and marine life effects.
