Abundant marine life and stunning seascapes are aplenty at Swanage Pier, which can be dived at almost any time in any tide. In the summer the pier legs are covered with marine life, including sponges, seaweed of all colours, sea-squirts, anemones and hydroids. There are lots of fish including wrasse, Tom-Pot blennies, gobies, sea bass, john dories and invertebrates including crabs, lobsters, cuttle fish, squid and on rare occasion even the odd trigger fish! I dived this spectacular pier in June 2017 having not dived it since April 2002. As you can see it did not disappoint and I will be back for more soon!
