Well it all kicked off first thing Friday Morning when I over slept and found HKN camped out side my door 7am in the morning which was a bit of a shock as I thought he was not due to 8am. After a mad rush I got all the stuff into his car and we were off. But I think my body was not happy as I only had 3 hours sleep and that mad rush made me feel quite grim and before for I new it I was badly Travel sick.
When we got to Camber we were treated with a epic breeze and a empty beach. HKN was quick to get out on the land Board. But I took my time as I was still getting over my travel sickness and spent about a 1 harf on the side line walking up and down the beach. Soon I felt better and got my Blurr 5.0 out and found out the wind was spot on. There was no one on the beach not even HKN as he took it easy and pulled in. There was one other buggyer there but we dident pass much. Soon the tide came in but I am Glad to say because there was no one there but us and Buggyer this was the best ever kite boarding sesh I have had. When we got to the holiday site we quicky sorted all are kit and chilled out for the rest of the day.Saturday
This was a more full on day and was rainning first of all but we hit the beach and quicky found out it was proper full on wind with gust of up to 30mph HKN got his Blade 2.0 out and I set up my Bullet 1.5 HKN did a major lurnch of his kite skudding slipping falling sliding fowards then backwards on his back then forwards before he got to his feet and the kite went to the senef. This got me worryed as I was about to lunch my Bullet 1.5 after alittle care it the Bullent lurnched with ease. and I quicky got out in the buggy. Soon loads more kite surfers showed up which made life intresting as they would normaly land there kites right were the buggyers and Land boarders were runing up and down. After a great day and hitting good speed we were both nackerd buy the time the tide came in but this was another good day.
Sunday
Sunday was much like Saturday with high winds and mad weather. Me and HKN met up with Pampers down at the beach and we quicky sorted out are kite the wind that time in the morning was not as full on so I set up the Rage 3.5 and quicky hit the beach doing high speed runs of over 30mph. HKN got his Mystic Delta out and had some runs on that before crashing the kite and a spa giving out after that he tryed 2 sizes of Foil before moving to a smaller Delat Kite. In the mean time Pampers got his Vemon up and was soon going up and down the beach with a odd flotey jump here and there. I was have to whach out for the kite surfers as they would sometime walk out in frount of you or crash there after wiping out on the surf. Soon the wind went nuts and after hitting a seagull on one of my runs slowing down in the buggy started to became harder so I had to ditched the kite to stop me being sling shot out of the Buggy Wilba who was a great chap went over to help me sort out the Rage said did I want to lunch the kite and I thought it be ok. So I said if we take it to the ege of the window but the kite had other iders and span into the window and powered up before I new it I was of on my backside sliding down wind with the kite luckly I was able to get it to the ege of the power zone then hit the safety. I called it a day after that. Pampers need help sorting his kite so I helped him pack away. and then helped the Kite surfers lurnch and land there kites. before packing up and getting a lift back to the Holiday park with Pampers.
In the evening me and HKN went to get some drinks and hit the beach with a stacker 10 this was great fun to fly and we had a killer sunset with epic wind. This was a turly epic holiday!
